OK I got the Steam version of this game and even with my problems I loved this game and enjoy it lot but it's kind of sad I have this stutter problem for no reason like I'm using the worst PC evar! My PC is clean and it clearly should run the game given it's specs:

Motherboard:
Gigabyte Z97M-D3H
Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
RAM:
8GB
OS:
Windows 10 (64 bit)

The summary of the problem is this:

When the game is loading some "heavy" enemy and stuff in the background at the same time you can see the stuttery pause in the character running animation. If I return to that same place when I killed the big enemy the stutters is gone

So I posted in a topic here about the game performance with a guy having the same problem as me and I thought it would probably fade away without any real clarification and almost let it go!

After sometime I return here and I see another post where a CAPCOM Developer helps a guy so I got my hopes up and decided to create this topic!

Can't you CAPCOM guys out there at least say if it's a problem with the game that can't be fixed so my head will not explode?

I noticed that the low volume problem got ignored too so I guess CAPCOM knows there is this problems but since they are rare or majority doesn't care they just ignore it?

I tried so many things to fix this problem and I will not list here but I think I can say it's not my PC since it's only with Dragon Dogma!!!

At this point I just want to know why this happens and get some closure!

You mentioned something about it possibly being an issue when the process switches CPU cores on another forum thread so locking it's affinity may be worth a try.

It shouldn't matter what number you pick unless you already have another program locked to that same core.

Not having any performance trouble myself though so I can't tell what that will do for you.

Thanks for the answer friend! Sadly this was one of the things I tried without success :( Tried core by core and nothing really changed. I even disabled hyper threading and tried it again and nothing.

Since the problem do not happen every time it gets annoying to test so that's why I decided to play with the problem and not do any other tests cause I got fed up but I really would appreciate a closure or some miraculous fix :)
Wish that buying this version would fix my problems but since it seems worst by some posts I will just give up :(
System 1 = stock Asus TP500Ln laptop;
I7 Intel core
GF840m
1 TB hdd
8 G ram
Windows 8.1
Network is broadband cable

I usually play for about 3 hours in a session and sometimes the pawns will respond slowly but my character is a warrior (running in and out quickly) so there is a lot going on during big battles.

System 2 = Ryzen K17 + stock cool
Asus B350-Plus
Radeon RX 550 (4g)
Windows 10 pro
*8 g ram
Asus Rog Sica mouse
4 hours play = no issues at all with the game
bechmark = https://cdn2.windowsforum.com/attachments/1st-benchmark-png.34874/
*this is in fact 16 g but the system misreads it
