I did not know Dragon Dogma has such a big issue with the corruption of game data and I did not back up my saves.

Everything was going well till yesterday, there was a sudden crash happened, the game could not launch and a force close was needed. Restarted my laptop and try again, it worked and I can play, but then it happen again during a load time, I got a bad feeling about it and let it run for a while, but the load never stops, I got no choice but to force the game to close. That might be the case why the save file got corrupted.

Is there anyway to fix this? Much appreciated.

it sounds like your laptop is struggling to run the game... that will not corrupt the save file and you can test by running the game on another machine
