there is no sound after the startup menu. none at all and trust me ive tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling to updating all my drivers. othing works except for the starup menu music. please seriously help, ive been trying for 4 days straight

same problem here. Have you solved it ?

Try this:

- Open the game normally through a desktop shortcut, then select the Configure option.
- Go to Audio tab
- Check all the boxes there, then select Dragon Age: Origins menu at the top and select Save Settings
- After that, simply uncheck all the boxes from the Audio tab and save changes again.

See if this works.
