Snowstone: I'm currently downloading the game, but I wanted to make sure I install the game properly so it runs without issues.

I have to install the main game, then the Bonus DLC + hotfix, correct?

Is there any fan patches that I should also install that fixes bugs? If so which ones?

Also are there any must install mods that improve the game? I read there is a mod that allows you to respec skill points at any time.

ussnorway: I use the https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3380 mod because that is the only way to get them in game

the dlc are all in the gog list and you can pick what you want to keep... respec is a normal part of the 2nd and last part of the game so I don't want any patch for that

note: you will need to enable "net 3" and "directplay" to run the mods | game in Windows 10

lada_: What is "net3" and "directplay" ...are these folders in the game folder?
or a choice through GoG?
