Hi and thanks to everyone who ask and answer the forum questions!

My question is about keeping the Bioware DAO folder after I have purchased and installed the GoG version with all the proper updates. [Thank You, GoG!!]

I had to uninstall my Origin and also my Steam DAO saved games because of the DLC bug that wipes one's Ultimate version of its DLC. Yet a Bioware folder for DAO still exists I see ... and this includes the (now empty) override folder I used to put my mods in.

Because the Nexus instructions re using any Vortex installed DAO mod is: erase them! Do NOT use Vortex mods in DAO. . . or the erase DLC bug will occur. And I know this by experience to be true. :(
So:

The reason I ask what to do with that Bioware folder is GoG has made a lovely new folder for the game in my C folder.
I am making a copy of it right now too! as backup. BUT - - -
why is that Bioware folder persisting? And I admit I took my character saves folder from it, so I could continue them.
And it does not appear to have dis'ed my DLC whew!
I just fear that the bug is in that folder. Will GoG make a new folder with an override section?

Thanks for any help! Apologies for such a clueless question!
