I'll add "skip the fade" and "personal annoyance remover" mods to the mix.

If by some chance you are a first time player, don't use the skip fade mod as it's worth playing ONCE but it's a drag on repeats. It skips you to the companion sections and the end boss whilst giving you the attribute bonuses.

PAR removes all the sparkly effects, though I have heard there's variations that remove other things that may annoy you.

Oh and for extra fun there's a "slap Morrigan" mod. First time players may find that one especially fun as Morrigan can be a real pain.

+1 for DAO Mod Manager, and you don't need LAA, it is already implemented on the GOG version.

Bioware is dead and buried, that's why you can't trust these stupid online activation.
Fortunately, there's a pack somewhere containing these dlc plus offline activation.
EA can "keep" their dragon keep to themselves :)
Anyway, nice mods list.

I can confirm that all bugs and problems with mods, etc. are gone as long with fixed loading/saving. I installed Qwinn’s Ultimate Dragon Age: Origins Fixpack v3.4 (newest available version) from his website: qwinnmods.com using DAO-Modmanager. This Ultimate Fixpack needs to be installled last, on top of all other mods. I hope that helps

I agree on the DAO ModManager. However, I do find if you use any texture mods, Denerim tends to be a bit dodgy with crashes or crashing on loading. I did use LAA and it solved the problem, so I recommend it.
