During the final battle, there are two events at the city gates of Denerim. The first is the initial attack, which is completed once you talk with Riordan. I already had a glitch happen that I was able to "fix" with a mod that changed one of the options in the debug dialogue. Riordan would not get a quest marker over his head once I defeated all the enemies.

That same type of glitch is happening now in the defense scenario. Even after I seem to kill every invading enemy, the messenger does not appear. I believe the game is not spawning some enemies.

Does anyone know a fix? I imagine I could fix this with the GetSetPlotFlag mod, but I do not know the plot name and the string code of the specific plot flag I want to change. I already tried using the kill all hostiles command.

Mods were installed.


Update: after doing the old Skyrim trick of removing a group of files and then gradually finding the source of the error, the problem could be singled down to the "Flash Creature Scale" mod and the file "APR_base_FCR.gda", which removes enemy max level cap.

So, there is no such bug in the game.
Just don't use bad mods. Just use Quinn's.
