I apologise if this double posts. I hit post and waited 8 minutes before closing it and trying again.
Alright. A few times I have had to go to earlier save files to get pasts parts of the game, but I feel like I am getting very close to winning Dracula 2 The Last Sanctuary, and would hate to have to start over.
So I am heading for the last sanctuary, and there are these stairs which SUPPOSEDLY have runes on them. I've read the green book and seen the clue with which runes to step on. But I can't see them. I saw someone's video walkthrough showing these stairs and they are lit up! But apparently, the version in the video is a console version, not the PC version. So my question is, are they not lit up in the PC version? I have tried adjusting screen brightness, but even at its brightest, the laptop I've been playing it on tends to be a bit dark. I've looked up the solution which tells me which stairs to step on, but, alas, I can not even tell which one to start on. Can anyone perhaps provide a screen shot of where to click first?
So to summarise, what I am asking is:
1. In the PC version (the one from here at GOG) are the runes on those stairs leading to the gate which crushes you lit up?
2. Can anyone give me a screen shot of which stair to choose first, because maybe then I can figure the rest out?
3. Or is the only solution to, alas, start over or from an earlier save file?
