I have just enjoyed Warcraft 2 and so I installed Doom. The graphics are terrible and I am not able to play the game. I thought the idea of a DOS box was to cure this, Any ideas?
Are the graphics different from what you see on the screenshots on the game's main page? You might want to check how does the game look before you buy it.

If it makes you unable to play the game for some odd reason (allergic to pixels?), you can use source ports that allow you to use higher resolution, lighting effects etc.

Here's a list of source ports, you should be able to find something that suits your needs:
https://www.doomworld.com/classicdoom/ports/?platform=2

For example, I'm using Zandronum, due to it's multiplayer options, but you can change the graphics as well, if needed.

Ok thanks I will look into it.
You can also use with QZDoom the file "NeuralUpscale2x_v0.95.pk3"
it smoothes the sprites of the game (or fans or reworked the sprites I don't remember exactly).
