I'm not sure if the ability is not in the game at all or if I'm just missing something obvious. If you can make your own snap maps (for... yourself?) and you have internet access separate from the game, can you not just download maps people have made and install them by hand? If so, from where and how? So far I've been stumbling around trying to figure out the situation and only see the ten or so options listed in game (for instance a classic Doom map remake from the community) and almost nothing online separately. Maybe there's something in the steam community offerings but I don't know that place.

I'd find it hard to believe there would be a Doom release this good that the community didn't map the hell out of.
EULA states that the content used or provided using SnapMap is the rights of Bethesda/ID Software, so that is why you will not be able to download or find any content creation outside of the servers, SnapMap is a plugin.
Hm, okay well, assuming that's little more than the usual regarding editors and eulas, that does suck. But does something in this release prevent the client from accessing anything beyond the very slim offerings we're seeing? Is there a way to see all community maps rather than just the top voted one(s)?

Approx 50 files are missing from the GOG version for Online/Snap-Map.
