Do the GOG versions of Doom 3 BFG and Quake 4 work with Windows XP?

Why I ask:
I have the disc versions already and they work on Windows XP, but I thought it would be nice to have DRM free digital versions too.

Also, Turok doesn't officially support XP, but it still runs fine under XP.

I'm fairly certain the games would work, my main concern is the installers.

For those who would tell me to upgrade to a later Windows version:
I keep a computer with XP around to play old games. I only play old games that originally supported XP.

For everything else I use Linux. I have no need or desire to "upgrade" my version of windows.
Quake 4 should, since it's not using a new engine build or anything of the sort.

I have no idea about BFG Edition. I would guess no, but you can always find out.
I already said: "I have the disc versions already and they work on Windows XP". That includes Quake 4 and Doom 3 BFG edition.

My question was: Will the -GOG- versions install and play on XP?

Are the installers off-line, or can you only install the games with Galaxy? I've heard that Galaxy no longer supports Windows XP.

That's what I wanted to know.

There are offline installers for both games available.
You can also use the GPL engine builds for D3BFG (and most of the other id games here). They might need to be compiled on XP to run on XP though.

You could use RBDoom 3 BFG source port for Doom 3 BFG and play your disc version or the gog version on Linux
