Do you know how I can play the Doom (2) campaign using BD64? I thought I'd just drag the doom2.wad over the "bd64 zandronum.exe" file, but the results are very glitchy.

I don't use Zandronum, and I don't drag the files to the source port executable either, so I can't be sure, but I'd expect you just drag the bd64gameV1c.pk3 onto the executable and then select doom2.wad from the IWAD selection screen (or drag both doom2.wad and bd64gameV1c.pk3 to the executable.

What I do instead, and this is using GZDoom, is I write my own batch files to launch the source port, specifying the IWAD to use along with all of the addon files to be loaded. I also use this method to specify a config file to use and a save folder to use (as I use different configs and save folders for each game/addon/mod).
Just finished the mod! While it could definitely do with some polish and bugfixes, it's pretty damn solid and actually makes the otherwise dull Doom 64 really damn enjoyable. The action is well done, without going over the top in a way that would clash with the more survival horror-ish tone. I have to say that I also particularly like the touch at end.

*SPOILERS*

The mod's ending made me have a major continuity-gasm. In Doom 2016, there are a number of references to the original games that could be read as implying that the Doom Slayer is the Doom Marine from the previous games. BD 64 takes that theory and rolls with it, showing the moment when the demons start to fear the Doom Marine to the same level of intensity they do in Doom 2016.

*END SPOILERS*

tl;dr: well worth the time, can't wait to see what SgtMkIV does next.

korell: Originally I was using GZDoom 2.3 SVN versions and it would crash on the level transition from the intro level to the first map.

Rolling back to the release version of GZDoom 2.2.0, though, and it seems to work fine.

JesperU: I read something similar on Mod DB but it works just fine for me with latest SVN.
Are you using the x64 version with support for OpenGL 2.0 and higher?
The crashing issue I was having with SVN version 252 is not present in SVN version 292 released on Nov 4th.

This latest version also works with both Trailblazer and with Wolfenstein 3D TC (Trailblazer was crashing with 252 and Wolf 3D TC was crashing on release 2.2.0). As such, I've made it my current build to use as I think all the mods I have are working with it.

Good! Sometimes they drop one or two less good builds but they always catch up in the end.
Brutal Doom 64 was updated to v2.0.

Version 2.0 brings Tactical Mode, Deathmatch maps, Assault Rifles, and much more.

I already have Brutal Doom 64. Runs great on both Windows 7 and Linux Mint via Wine.
I even uploaded some (Fraps) footage of playing BD64 to Vidme: https://vid.me/2V5s
How do I get it working? I have a copy of the Doom 64 ROM if that helps. I can't Doom 64 vanilla on my N64 emulator however as trying to makes the Doom Slayer constantly strafe right and I don't know if it's an emulation glitch.

EDIT: sorry, I've got 2.0 and read the readme file a couple of hours after posting the original message so let me rephrase it: will Brutal Doom 64 work with GZDoom or does it have to be Zandronum?

If it does work with GZ Doom, how can I make it run?
