Only reason I wanted to buy it.. if not.. no thanks. I have the steam version, ill deal with it.

Why go through soo much effort to remove these features due to "multiplayer", for piracy reasons, im sure... Not many people care for it to begin with.

I only own the GOG version and was able to go mess around in the Snapmap editor. I think they mean the downloading and sharing built into the game is not available, as the only maps I am able to access are from 2016, which I believe are downloaded with the game anyway. I imagine you would be able to get/download maps from other sources and share it as well, most likely having to do a little searching through the files. At first it seemed like I couldn't open snapmap mode but I waited a bit and it finally loaded, I don't know if its the same for the steam version.
