Hi, the message says "Gog don't starve version not detected" . But I bought all 3 Don't starves here, so why can't I install it? Of course I could install all three parts again but then I lose all Characters and have to restart as a newbie. Any solution?

I had to uninstall/reinstall. The Shipwrecked installer just wouldn't recognize I had a current updated version installed.

I'm having the same issue here. No matter where I place it, the installer simply won't detect my Don't Starve and Reign of Giants installation. I ran the updater, just in case, and there was an update, but it doesn't help with the detection issue.

I just removed all game's files from the old installation folder manually and then reinstalled the game with all three DLCs into the same old folder manually too using installation packs, not via Galaxy. Because the game stores it's configs and saves files in the \Documents\Klei\ folder, you do not lose your Characters and games (it's all for Win7 64). Though I did not check a compatibility of the old saved games with Shipwrecked, just deleted it to start a new game :)
