hi folks sorry for the dumb question but theres just one update file on my games list, theres this new underground update, how do I update this game? will the new update files be on gog.com or do you download those from the game's website?

also the game's website keeps giving 503 error :S anyone managed to get the underground update?

I hope they haven't left all distribution to the DRM platforms, how hard would it be to send GOG an update file?

I don't have the underground update yet,Steam users are playing it. Feels weird nobody else mentioning about it.

If you don't want to wait for GOG providing it via download, you've to manually start the game updater.

Run this file: ...\Don't Starve\updater\16\updater.exe
After the updater has started, you're asked for a registration key.
Use the serial number provided by GOG at the game's detail pane in your account (Look for "My serial number: ...").

If the updater doesn't start at all, but gives you a message, that something with your configuration is wrong, try the work around from that thread.

run what file? you just typed in some dots and then some path that makes no sense.
xenxander the dot part means whereever you installed the game for example if it is installed under drive C the game folder would be under C:\

mine was by default in C drive under GOGgames folder so it'd look like

C:\GOG Games\Don't Starve\updater\16\updater.exe

if you've installed it to a different folder it'd look different

@bokkafa: You're welcome! The inexplicit update mechanism annoyed me too.
