Yes, there this important update is coming. At this moment it is in beta stage, but this will be released soon - for Steam of course.
I am afraid that Klei will not want to release it for GOG - again!
There it will be needed go to Klei's forum and to demand this again - like in case of Hamlet DLC.
I remember this well. And I suspect, if I and few others would didn't do it, there wouldn't be Hamlet DLC for GOG until now, most probably! We did forced Klei to release Hamlet for GOG in this way and Klei did this at last for the sake of own peace, I suppose.

The worst thing is that most Klei forum's users and moderators are fanatics of Steam/DRM and they didn't see nothing wrong about treat other customers like worse second class citizens, moreover - they even defended Klei's such proceedings!
There was such regretable having to make "flamewar", only to make us to be treat fairly.

Now there, I'm have a bad feeling about this update.
It looks like it we will be needed to ask or even demand Klei for this update again.

Well according to what they said in the forums we will definitely get it, the question is just when.

Don't starve 554439 is already released on Steam for one month, when will we get it on GOG? It has been with excitement that I have been heard Don't Starve wiil has a big bug fix over these time.
I have only bought Don't starve Alone Plus on GOG, maybe I should waiting for another long time to see Klei port it to GOG.

Wasn't interested in the game before. Seen a review am now interested in the game but the update is missing.
Maybe it will appear sometime.
Wonder if i should buy the game it would have been easier if the update was already here and i still gonna wait for a discount

Today (July 18th) has been released a new update for the game and all DLCs (version 20230427 for Windows, and version 554439 for Mac)

Today (August 30th), Linux also released. Congratulations!
