I'm in the first town and there are a number of items that have this option (When right clicking).

If I as a player have not been introduced to anything HOMESTEAD related, then keep it off items if you cannot keep it off items, then those items shouldn't be accessible until HOMESTEAD has already been introduced.

However seeing it on items then it already should have been explained all about Homestead.

I'm one of these players that I don't just sit back and accept something that hasn't been explained,. No you make me aware of it, then you need to explain it. Between the utter lack of explanation on anything, and the misspellings I don't know what's worse. There is a major difference between exploring and attempting things on your own and the garbage that's going on in this game. This whole explore and figure things has been taken to a beyond and retarded out of control level.

Seriously WTF!

tx3000: Between the utter lack of explanation on anything,
Homestead = End of Time
That could be clearer, but I don't think it is unexplained.

tx3000: and the misspellings
I don't suppose you have a list?

So when I right click on an item and select "Send To Homestead" the item is going to disappears out of my inventory and be sent to the End Of Time? So it will never arrive at it's destination so even if you were able to get there it still wouldn't be there after you sent it...That doesn't make any sense.

Raze_Larian: I don't suppose you have a list?
Yes actually I do.

One thing I want to get clear about this list is that I am in America so I don't give a rats ass about how other places in the world spell or grammatically use words. Unless it's US Based then I don't care what dictionaries people talk about or show or use. I am in America so I go by American Spelling and Grammatical use and nothing else. If the American language says it's wrong, then it's wrong it may not be wrong other places in the world but good for them, this is America where I am.

Here are a few of the misspellings I've come across so far (I'll post more if I find them):

Customize - In the main menu it's spelled Customise. Every forum on the internet , Google, MS word all put a red underline under this word. A red underline means it's not spelled correctly and auto-correct will replace the S with a Z

Defense - In the main menu of the game it's spelled Defence..Every forum on the internet , Google, MS word all put a red underline under this word. A red underline means it's not spelled correctly and auto-correct will replace the c with a s

Realize - The game has it spelled Realise. Every forum on the internet , Google, MS word all put a red underline under this word. A red underline means it's not spelled correctly and auto-correct will replace the S with a Z

Sourcery in the game it's spelled SOURCERY Every forum on the internet , Google, MS word all put a red underline under this word proving it's wrong. Auto-Correct will even put the proper Spelling in for you.

Customise is the original English spelling. Customize is an evolved US spelling. Both are correct, depending on who writes it.

As I said I am in America and that's all that matters with something in America so unless something in America is using the US spelling and grammatical usage, then it's wrong.here.

End of discussion on this
Nah, not the end of discussion on this.

The game explains, more than once, where the term "Sourcery" comes from. It's not a misspelling of sorcery, but is instead a term coming from the word Source. It is, well, kind of the entire point of your two starting characters at the beginning of the game.

For what it's worth, the "Send to Homestead" option did not appear for me until I had been to The End of Time (where you get a long explanation of that place by two different NPCs) for at least the third time, since the Homestead gets unlocked as part of your progression of the story.

Applying the benefit of the doubt, you use Rift Travel to access the The End of Time, which is a location and not a time. This is where you get to your Homestead.

As to the language localisation, um, you understood what was meant so what is the big problem? I've seen a ton of punctuation and grammar mistakes in your posts: to whom should I file the bug report?
What a peculiarly funny discussion.

After I restarted the game, I noticed I can send things to "The End of Time" aka "Homestead" before I found the first Starstone (and visited the spoilyspoilyspoilerkindofplace aka Homestead)

And to tx3000 spelling problem, I simply suggests he moves to Britain, where suddenly the game doesn't contain any spelling error ever again. What a nice win-win situation for everyone...
But there is a faster way.
He actually might download the American Installer, not the English one, I mean I can't complain that the game isn't in Esperanto, because I didn't download the Esperanto Installer. Bad luck for me...

Khadgar42: What a peculiarly funny discussion.
I'll go along with peculiar, but "bizarre" fits far better than "funny." Then there's "narcissistic" that could be plugged in somewhere here...along with less charitable descriptions like "moron," or "imbecile" or "mentally challenged"...;) But of them all, I suspect "narcissist" rings the bell...:D

Heh...;) This really has nothing to do with American spellings versus English spellings...;) tx3k keeps talking about "American" but I'm American and can tell you that spelling has nothing to do with it....Bwahahah....;) "Source" is from the game vernacular and "sourcery" is simply a take off on that, and no matter how many times it has been patiently explained to tx3k, the poor fellow simply can't grasp it. I guess he just can't connect the dots no matter how hard he tries...For some reason he's badly confused geography with spelling, go figure. Sad, sort of (also pretty amusing, but in a sick sort of way)...;)

Good point Mr. Bond, I was mostly referring to the" realize =/= realise and defence =/= defense part" as he tried to lecture me in another thread that I had misspelled Civilisation...
I just read this thread and understood the whole "vastness of this issue"

Hickory: Sigh!
It's examples just like this one you've supplied, Hickory, that explain why I keep pushing for Raze to get a Medal...(Larian should have an official awards ceremony and pin the thing on his chest in front of the entire Internet..."For services rendered above and beyond the call"...)...;)

I think Raze has proven his objectivity splendidly, and if he doesn't say another word in response to the specious noises tx3k keeps making in these forums it will be the best possible answer he could provide. I'm with you, and vote that we all simply ignore this person until he burns out here and finds some other forum to notice him for awhile....(those poor folks)...;)

Yes, I know all too well!...in the beginning of the thread I tried to give him a face-saving way out by explaining to him that "culture" and "regional spellings" had nothing to do with the spelling...but of course tx3k had gained the fulcrum and was going to exploit it to the fullest...;) We should start a pool and bet on how many times an hour tx3k takes a selfie...!...;)
