I found a sapphire key in the first level of the Aleroth dungeon. I don't want to waste a valuable key on some trivial door (if that's even how the system works), so I checked Kiya's walkthrough, which doesn't even mention the sapphire key.
Anyone know what this is or what to do with it?

Personally, I used this walkthrough when I needed one.
On the Catacombs level 1 map, it says the key you've just found (at 6a) opens the door at 6.

Thanks. That one does look pretty good. I used the sapphire key yesterday on a door that led to nowhere in particular, and as I recall it was not the place shown on the map you linked. Think Ill go try it again the right way.
Using keys is kinda scary in this game.
