So I was fighting Josefina to try to reclaim the elven rep's sacred items, I found two on the ground, but after defeating her (OMG she is a pain) I cannot find the third item. I looked at some walkthrough and they say she is supposed to drop something, but there is nothing on the ground and my other save (I saved right after beating her because I didn't want to do it again, oops) are waaaaaaay earlier. Is there something I'm missing or am I screwed?
May it be that you've already picked up the staff she had dropped and are missing something else? For me, she dropped that staff (an unidentified one, requiring lvl4 ID skill) all right.

There are three Elven Ceremonial Items. The first two are already identified, but the third is a quarterstaff which Josephina drops when she leaves. You should be good to go if you have the staff identified. It doesn't look like much of a staff so it is easily overlooked. You're almost there . . .=)
Yep, definitely a bug as she definitely did not drop a single thing. Thankfully, due to the magical wonder that is two different quicksave slots, I realized my second quicksave was right BEFORE the battle. yaaaaaay!
Anyway, on the second time beating her, which, again, is horrible when playing a bow wielding survivor (I had to level up and aura of command her underling to distract her), she did drop the staff and I was able to advance.
Thanks for the help though

Seems you have found a new bug . . .=)
Next time you fight her, try Shadow potion and freeze (maybe a little poison weapon as well). If you are a warrior or mage, you can use your special weapon skill without becoming visible and defeat her fairly quickly. If you left click you become visible and she will be on you like . . .

Yea, my freeze had no effect. Poison barely had an effect, but I did use it in my battle extensively.

Playing as a (battle)mage, I've discovered that "fighting fire with fire" method works quite well; that is, summoning a demonic aide (if available) and/or Commanding hers away. Also, resurrecting her "dwarves" doesn't hurt.
I'm on my second play through, this time as a Battlemage. My first time trying the lightning skill . . . I am impressed with it. Does lots of damage to Orcs, Zombies and spiders. Sorta like a ranged weapon, give em a few shots as they approach and finish them of with the ol sword . . . =)
Haven't got to Josephina yet, looking forward to trying it on her.

I found this thread which states one of the DD bugs is "Josie then tends to throw the elven staff into the dark area" so you probably had this happen and you were not losing your mind . . . =)
