I love this game and I've only played for an hour or so.
How can I have multiple saves? It seems I'm allowed two quick saves, but only one 'hard' save. Also, I've tried typing in the name of the place I am saving, and nothing happens. I was able to do so one time, I typed in Save One, and now that's the only save I have besides the two quick saves. I've read the manual, but nothing is leaping out at me.
I'm using Windows 7 (64) on a HP. I jumped through the hoops and am running as animistrator and in Windows 98 compatibility.
I'm sorry to piggy back questions, and I'll post a new question if need be. But has anyone been able to get an XBox controller to work with this? I used Xpadder to set my controller up but the game won't recognize it.
Nevermind, it seems to be working now. I turned the game off and when I started again, I had more options. Sorry to be a bother.

Unless Win 7 (64) is interfering with your saves you should be able to make random saves.

If you still cannot make saves, did you install as an administrator? Try turning UAC to "Never notify" and try to make a save. If you can save with UAC off you may need to backup your saves, uninstall DD and reinstall in a directory outside of Program Files.
