For Divinity DKS, where can I find out what happens to my character upon leveling up based on whether he is a warrior, mage, or ranger? I suppose they all get skill and stat points, but are there other differences, or is it merely different starting equipment? Thanks

Your initial choice of character build only effects you starting weapon, stats, and skills. From there you can developer your character however you wish, with no restriction or differences based on that choice.
Thanks Raze - so other than the initial stat points based on character type, every level up is identical no matter what character you chose? A warrior gets 3 strength to start, but at subsequent level ups he has no differences than a mage or ranger?

Correct. You can distribute the stat points as you wish when you level up, and besides the initial distribution there is no difference between a warrior, mage or ranger. For example, a warrior that switches to a bow and starts boosting dexterity could be pretty much identical to a ranger that put a few points into strength (ie for the healing rate boost) after a few levels (other than the starting skills; though you can eventually unlearn your skills, for a price, and re-invest the skill points). There are equipment bonus that give stat points (while equipped), charms, stat books (which give a free stat point) and possible stat points from Mindreading, so really the initial stat distribution isn't going to matter after the start of the game.

That is a little different from the first DD game, but I understand now.

Raze, you have been helpful since I played the first DD a long time ago. Thanks again.
