I've just installed DD, post-patch, never played it before.
I'm running it on a E6850 / ATI4770 / 4 GB Ram rig on W7 x64. There is some mouse lag to the game, not big, but quite noticeable nevertheless.
I'm curious whether this is normal, or just a rare issue, and in case the latter is true, if anyone knows of a way to reduce it.
I've tried compatibility modes, and I am running it with UAC off.

torque2k: Any way I can talk one of you into re-upping the configtool.exe from the demo to RapidShare? The link above is to a deleted file...
TIA!

Stuff: This is from another post I made about the tool . . . just so you know the whole story . . . =) . . . link should still be good.
"Some folks have solved the problem using the old DD configtool.exe to set rendering to DirectDraw instead of Direct3D See this thread. You will see an early post in that thread from DeathKnight (a DD developer / programmer) explaining why they removed the option and plainly stating that it is not supported any longer. It is something that you would try at your own risk. It would only affect DD.
This link used to be good for the old configtool.exe Like I said, use at your own risk and some have claimed it fixed their problem."
Edit: you can turn auto update off for almost all products . .

Worked perfectly, and once I ran the configtool-GOG.exe to up the resolution to 1280x800, fills the screen on my 24" iMac nicely, and very smooth! Thanks tons!

You're welcome, glad it worked for you, sometimes it does . . . sometime it doesn't
