WARNING! knowing this bug can ruin the game for you
I want to report it, not to boast, but in hopes that it will be fixed, because it is the
infinite money bug. And I find it rather odd that it has not been noticed before, but
seems that this is how it is.
Go to any trade situation. scroll down to your coins. add them in, but when you get the select the number part, pick a negative number, Poof. you get that many more coins. you can not make it arbitrarily large, but since you can do at the 'give me 90.000 crowns' level
indefinately, who cares?
If somebody decides to fix this bug, as a personal favour to me and all the native
english speakers, can you please change the slide so that instead of saying
'less and more' it says 'fewer and more'. In English one pays attention to whether
what you are measuring is countable or not. So a heap of gold coins, is treated
'uncountable'when you think of it as heap. You want LESS or MORE
of the heap. Maybe you want as MUCH of it as you can get.
On the other hand, gold, considered as a countable, uses different words.
You treat it as a countable, i.e, not as a heap, but as a collection which one
is prepared to count one-by-one as needed. You want FEWER or MORE of
the counts of the heap. Maybe you want as MANY of them as you ca n get.
Thus the slider, in English, where it ask you how many do you want to
select, is a primary example of where you should use 'FEWER' and 'MORE'
not 'LESS' and 'MORE'. And the no-brainer in the hint flash ups says to talk to 'as much
people' and do 'as much quests' -- clearly written by somebody from a
language - and there are many of them' where
'countability' either is not a concept , or the same word is used when you
want less/fewer of a thing same as there is only one word when you
want more/more of them, and where 'MUCH' and 'MANY' (much for
uncountables, many for countables) have the same problem.
Yet another instance of how English is confusing.
But if you have to change the code anyway .... it's just a language irritation I would
like to go away.

It would be nice if I could figure out how to post this article as my gameplaying nick,
Badger, rather than my real name, but this is my first post and I have not figured
out how yet.

If there is a bug reporting place, and I have missed it, apologies. Please send
me the correct way.

i too write software , and so this bug report is sent in the spirit of improvement. rather
than as criticism.
