Ok, you delayed the original release here for full Galaxy support.

Hi folks! We know that many of you are wondering why Divinity: Original Sin isn't yet available on GOG.com and when will it be released here.

Here's the official update from Larian Studios' Kickstarter page:
We’ve been secretly working on supporting GOG Galaxy, the new sexy online multiplayer platform from GOG.com and are happy to announce that full GOG Galaxy integration will be available for Divinity:Original Sin.

GOG is still working on launching Galaxy, so before that happens, our Kickstarter backers who have selected GOG.com as the digital distribution platform will be able to use Direct IP or LAN options to play in multiplayer. Once GOG Galaxy launches (by the end of August, the folks at GOG tell us), they will be able to take advantage of all the features this DRM-free online gaming platform offers.
Ok, things don't work out as intended, GOG delayed Galaxy a few month and Larian dropped the support for Original Sin because of the Enhanced Edition - but still you both announced and promised it! And playing the first AAA Galaxy game was one of the reasons for me to wait for the GOG version and not buying the Steam version. You never delivered. I never complained because I was sure that the Enhanced Edition would deliver the promised support for the Galaxy features. So one simple question. Did you drop the Galaxy features completely or will you deliver what you promised and patch the game?

Yeah, I really wish they would comment on this, and implement it.
yeah I was planning to buy this on gog but once i found out it still doesn't support galaxy i'm not sure if i will get it at all now. and it would be nice if they would comment and let us know if they will add it at some point or if its only going to be in the sequel
Well I sent Larian a email asking about this based on the response it sounds like we might not get any galaxy support.

Hello I have been looking at getting Divinity Original Sin EE and was going to get it on (GOG) but i did some looking and it seems you promised to have Galaxy support in the original Kickstarter and now i cant find any info on whether you
plan to patch in support for achievements and multiplayer when they add it to
the galaxy client. it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know if
you plan on supporting galaxy features so I can decide whether to buy your great
sounding game or not
Regards

And the reply was this

The development of GOG Galaxy has been considerably delayed compared to the expectation when it was announced that D:OS would support Galaxy (the beta for it started months after the last update to D:OS). There has been no announcement of Galaxy support for the Enhanced Edition.

Thank you. So Achievements are coming and I will wait a little bit longer before I actually play the game. ;)
