The Level of the Skill Books (Novice, Adept, Master) are not showing in my Game. This makes it hard to buy the right spells. I have seen Let's Play Videos and it shows the Skill Level in the Skill Book description, but not in my game. Is this a known bug? I have already verified my Files, but i could not find anything why this is happening.

Asmodan: Is this a known bug?
Yes, it is (and we contacted GOG about this some time ago).

If you are using Galaxy, and do not need the Chinese localization update, reverting to the previous version '2.0.119.430 (A)' fixes the problem (in Galaxy, select the EE in the level column, click on More and select Settings, uncheck the automatic updates and select an earlier game version).
About a year ago someone that contacted Larian support mentioned that GOG support provided them a link to download the full installer for the previous version. A topic here around then also mentioned someone 'fixing' this by replacing the game.pak file with the copy from a Steam install (don't know if the problem with the latest version is just with that file, though).
Thx for the fast reply, i will try this as soon as i have time. What are the Differences between the versions? Do i miss something when i switch to the earlier version?

Edit: Worked great, thx again. :)

Just Chinese language support, and the problem in (at least) the game.pak file that causes the tooltip bug.

Sorry to necro this thread, but does the latest KO patch, uploaded by GOG this week, include a fix for this tooltip bug?

Otherwise I'll be asking GOG to provide me with the old version offline installer previous to the CH patch.

Not currently, but someone did start looking in to this again.

Thank you very much for the prompt answer
GOG has updated "Divinity Original Sin 2" to version 3.6.117.3735.
Does anyone know if this version fixes the well known skill book bug?
Or do we still need to revert to previous versions?
Thanks.

The bug is in Divinity Original Sin 1 (2.0.119.430 KO update). Divinity Original Sin 2 is a completely different game.
