I’ve searched the web for clues, and it seems this is a known glitch. So I can do hex editing, which makes me a tad nervous. I’ve also seen the incredibly helpful “Raze_Larian” offer to edit files if sent to him. I also see Raze is still assisting folks on this board.

So...Raze, if you’re reading this and willing to help me, I’d appreciate it. Or, if anyone else has an easy fix to recommend, that’s great too.

Well I’d done a little hex editing before, so I gave it another go...and following the steps in an old solution proved simple as could be. So that problem with the imp is fixed. However, I think I may have another one with Gregor. I’ll continue playing and see what happens.

Turns out it was nothing. I brought him his booze, but he didn’t offer any dialogue about taking it; I thought I may have messed something up. But I didn’t.

Thanks for the link. Shortly after posting I fixed the imps using the excellent directions in that thread. I also edited the two orcs, along with the dragon while I was at it. The IRC’s attacked, so I presume the dragon will too. Editing was easy to do actually, accomplished by downloading a free hex editor from cnet.
