* Plenty of spoilers*

I've noticed a bug related to the quest Closing the Rift. While exploring the Luculla Forest I discovered two bridges leading to another areas - the Dark Forest and the Phantom Forest. Right after entering any of these two areas my Source Hunters are approached by ZigZax who warns them about the Void Demons and describes the three paths leading to the centre of the wasteland that lies before them. Basically it's the cut scene which should occur in the top corner of the Luculla map. Of course I didn't know it back then and it took me a while to figure out I should load one of my previous saves and come back to these areas later.

It's good that the world game is open, but in this case either the bridges should be closed until a later stage of the game or the cut scene should not appear in those areas.

Another quite annoying yet minor thing is the lack of north arrow on the map. Quite often the NPCs give directions which I can't understand as I don't know whether north is in the top right or the top left. Or maybe bottom, why not?

Your minimap is your compass. Use it to orient yourself. See attached image.

Thanks! It's so small I didn't notice it ;)
Isn't the Dark Forest and Phantom forest the same area?

The Phantom Forest is *in* the Dark Forest area. It's the area you cannot go without working out how.
I haven't explored that map yet, in both cases I loaded my previous save right after that ZigZax cut scene. But I could see the name of the area after crossing the bridge. Once it said "Dark Forest" (when I crossed the bridge in south east) and once - "Phantom Forest" (when I crossed Archibald's bridge).

No matter if these areas belong to the same map or not, the cut scene should not appear in any of them (IMHO). Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the reason the cutscene appeares there because otherwise it would be possible to skip this whole "Homestead is under attack" thing. All you had to do is simply just not entering the NW area of Luculla map.

On the other hand the imp should really say something else, like: "Go back to Luculla, and go NW", instead of "Chose from the 3 paths" wich really *is* confusing.

That could be a good (and simple) solution.

I was a little surprised when I finally entered that NW area with the Void demons. Being sick and tired of throwing the pyramid across lava, I chose the middle path. Not a single demon attacked, as if they didn't even notice my characters. I could walk freely between them all the way to the Blood Stone. Is it supposed to be that simple?

Tornado gets rid of lava ;)

No O.o
The demons attacked me, and I couldn't hurt them in any way. I chose to kill the immaculates instead, then gave Roderick an invisibility potion to run past the last group of demons, and reach the stone.

Yep, I know, I noticed that recently - by accident. In one of the tips appearing on the loading screen I read that lava could not be removed or something, so I didn't even try using tornado before.

Well, the demons must have been afraid of my mighty heroes and didn't dare attack :P
