I get to some point in the game and the movements become extremely quick. Scrolling up is fine, but trying to scroll down is jerky and only works intermittently. Then I move to another level, and the screen comes up blank with my character's locations till showing as a blue dot on the mini map. Try starting another game, and climbing the ladder doesn't move to the next screen.

Tried both hardware and software graphical rendering, each at different resolutions. No change

Uninstalled and reloaded, issue is still present.

I've tried this on two game platforms so far, GOG and Steam, and I'm getting the same issue. Issue has happened at random spots in the game.

Windows 10, HP laptop with Intel UHD 620 graphics.

Any ideas?

If your playing Divine Divinity, you may have Caps Lock on.
It enables free camera movement. (as does holding down the shift key)
Turn off caps lock and then hit the Home key to center the camera on the player.
