I have fiberoptic and can DL games at 35+ MB/s so why am i only getting 0.5 MB/s with this game?

I had this problem too. Try to install GOG galaxy client and dowload game from there..it was significally better speed.

Nothing to do with galaxy trash, I have 18 MB/s connection, and my classic installers downloads are full speed.
Just redone a file to check for you, still OK here.
There have been others posting about slow speed, unless you are all in the same region, and it's a local server issue, I suspect the problems at your end, or your provider.
Check your Network
Try downloading a large file from another site to check speed.
Try another browser, or if you have extentions with them disabled, firefox has a built in easy option to that.
I use the menu bar, which you can turn on in customisation, it's in the Help Tab, don't know how you get at it with useless default setup.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Witcher 3, Div 2 is still at 0.5 MB/s Witcher 3 went at 34 ish MB/s

It was implying the problem was because the OP was NOT using Galaxy I wasn't saying anything about using Galaxy, I don't use it, because I detest all "Store Clients".
