RE: The Tyrant armor set ...

Is anyone else disappointed it was only level 6 armor? It's a pretty major quest - you have to go all over to find the pieces - you can't wear them until you find all 5 pieces (except the helm, big spoiler on that below) - but by the time you get near the final battle to get of the island you are level 8 and have better gear anyway. I mean, I barely wore the set.

Because of the scavenger hunt, I really wish they had at least made it level 8 or 9 armor so it would be worthy of wearing for awhile longer at least.

All the pieces have a curse effect until you put them all on EXCEPT the helm, no negative effect AND can kill shriekers ... then SURPRISE! ... too good of a spoiler, but everyone who's trying to get max xp possible should do it - I'll leave it at that ... think something similar to the movie "Candyman".


EDIT: Make sure you quicksave after each shrieker you kill with it ...

For what it's worth, the helm DOES give you perma-Warm while wearing it.

Make sure to wear the full set of armor in the final Act 1 fight and use it to get some MP back late into the fight for best effect.
