Hello, I would like to play the game without being online. Is there any way to keep track of my GOG achievements in offline mode? Should they sync when I go online?
Thanks in advance,
Simas

Simple enough to do. Before you begin each session, run Galaxy and it will automatically compile your achievements and show them to you. After that, close down Galaxy completely--shut it off from the systray icon--"exit". Then run the game from the EoCApp.exe (you can put a shortcut to that exe on your desktop--that's how I do it.) Galaxy won't run at all. Rinse and repeat each time you play, if you want to see your achievements on a daily basis.

There's a simple way to verify that you are off-line, too. In Galaxy there's a game timer that records the time you are on-line. I play off line and my Galaxy timer is 1 hour and thirty-three minutes, while the in game timer shows me with > 110 hours of play...;) This should do it for you.
Oh, thanks. I am going to have it a try. Have a nice day.

Yep, it's easy...;)
Hi. It doesn´t work. The achievements only pop-up when I get them online on Gog Galaxy. As long as I am offline, they don´t count.
I rescued Gareth playing offline, for example, but the achievement didn´t appear as soon as I logged into Gog Galaxy. So I opened the game one more time (online, in this case) and loaded a previous save, did the rescue again, then it popped-up (only online, not offline).
I've had achievements not popping when Galaxy was online, but the game .exe was blocked in the firewall.
So apparently both need to be online.

Works fine for me as I mentioned. I have ~127+ hours of play on the in-game timer, but two hours 30 minutes on the GOG onlline Galaxy timer. My last achievement is the Arx landing, which I just did--seems fine to me.

What you might want to do is to run the game through galaxy and play for thirty minutes or so to update your achievements, and then go offline. I have seen occasions in which the achievements take a little time to update--maybe the GOG server is slow, hammered, being maintained, etc. As you can see, I am up to date on my achievements despite being offline 99%+ of the time.

This doesn´t work to me unfortunately, but thanks for the help.
By the way, this game is great. A divine masterpiece.

Agreed! A masterpiece, indeed! So I guess achievements just aren't working for you at all then...? If you stay online 30 minutes or so with Galaxy, they should surely update by then. Ironic, wish I could give you my achievements because it really isn't important to me, but you'd like to have them...;) Maybe at some point they'll start working for you!

I am going to play online from now on, just to get the achievements. That´s the solution for the time being.
