I've tried to love this game, but after the first couple of acts it just causes me a bit too much frustration. Was considering replaying as Lohse to see how things change. Is it an interesting enough story?

I depends at your point of view and if you look at discussions about the "Best origin-sc/best origin-story" it's more like talking about faith, then a real discussionl ;) So...you have to test it yourself
