I choose a summoner as my starting class and i got 2 points into summoning.

If i look under skills it says i got lvl 2 in pyrokinetics and 1 in geomancy. The 3 starting summoning spells are nowhere to be found and i cant cast any magic at all.

I recruited 3 characters and they work just fine, it is only my main that isnt working

edit: i started a new game and now i can use summon magic right from the beginning. WTF? is there anyway to fix my first playthrough? I dont want to start over

I.After you finished the Prisonisland you can edit/respec all your chars, expect for race,gender&origin
Otherwise you can use one of the savegame-editors our there but i didn't try one so..no advice here.

II.The way you describe it..is it possible that you either edited your char and forgett to resett it or you changed your origin/setup and forget to edit the skills. Happend to me twice while creating my first char:)
