When the game was released I tried to play with my friend who bought the game on Steam. We couldn't make it work and I was told here that there was a bug preventing Direct Connect from working.
Has this still not been fixed? I just tried this again with the same friendon steam and once again we cannot join each others games through direct connect, either using the IP or the GameID.
I've forwarded the ports on my computer and we disabled both firewalls for the purposes of testing and nothing seems to work.
1: Story > Multiplayer
2: Direct connection
3: Paste GameID, click accept
4: Game freezes and has to be forcefully shut down.
