I'm finding that in many of the fights a characters quickbar is actually "Greyed" out and unable to access any movement or skills or items in the quickbar.

The only button available is "end turn" - but does not happen to my main character - but has happened to all 3 companions - but only one at a time. The only solution is to reload and that frees up and can continue to completion.

At first I thought this might be when AOE (Area Of Effect) skills were used against me - but as I left the prison and into the marshes it was happening at the start of the fight before any actions were taken by my characters or what ever enemy we were engaged with.

Also the terrain and elements did not seem to be the key either.

BrianDonn: The only solution is to reload
Do you mean save and reload, or do you have to load a previous save?
A couple people have reported this happening, though not as frequently, and I think generally it is fixable by saving and reloading.

If available, please email supportdos2@larian.com, with a description (or link to this topic) and a save after this has happened (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), or before if it is at least somewhat reproducible.
If you can not quicksave, or open the main menu with Esc, you may be able to use the menu button on the far left of the skillbar to bring up the main menu.

Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer you can zip file(s) and folder(s) by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder'.

I usually save b4 fights or load last save or autosave. Currently I don't believe I have any saves that were during the grey out but will go back and try and duplicate and save ... then send to support. Thanks for being so responsive I really want this to be the best game possible.
Also do you have any resource that would give us a heads up on major story changes like "Source Vampirism changed to Disruption" and point me in the right direction because a change like that really alters the way to play the story line. Thanks

No, not really. The spell change was mentioned in the patch notes, though the pools being removed missed being listed.

I just emailed support the saved file from a point when character was greyed out - not during a fight but entering the sewer area in the gargoyle maze building.

But the effect is the same - I also should have been more specific its not every fight but was about 1/3rd of the Major fights usually with more than 4 advisories.

Please let me know how else I can help - the save files to support are in email from BrianDonn@comcast.net

Thank you. This should be fixed in the next update (no ETA yet).
