Hi,
today i donwloaded the update for the enhanced edition and if i start the game i can choose from a launcher
which version i want to start.
If i choose the classic edition everything works fine...it starts and i can play normaly.
I played about 15h into the campain on the classic version.

Here is my problem.
If i choose the enhanced edition on the launcher i get an error message:
"this apllication cant be started: error 0x00007b"
this error seems related to VC++ or DirectX.
i already checked for win10 updates and reinstaled VC++.
I still cant start the enhanced edition.
i also tried to start the game from the folder...same error

Any ideas?

EDIT: Solved the problem by clicking "repair" in the gog launcher.

Regarding the VC++ redistributable: the one the Definitive Edition needs is the Visual Studio 2017 x64 version from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

Still doenst work...same error appear
