I have ~84GB free on my hard drive. I can' install the game - it says not enough free space. According to the game overview page, it is 47GB in size and needs 20GB storage, according to the installer it needs 19GB downloaded and 20GB installed. Not sure which number actually represents the truth but even in the worst case 84GB should be enough.

I just looked at the dos2 file under properties/general and it looks to be 59.7 gb's on disk. That's including the editor so I'm not sure what the problem is for you. Wish I could be more helpful.
Cleaned up some files on disk and now have 97GB free - still not able to install due to "Not enough free space on disk"

There is a bunch of hidden files that take up space but aren't shown, just marked as reserved. Might be something like that going on.
Please contact GOG support about this issue. They are the ones creating the actual installers.

The Mac version is smaller than the Windows version, since it does not include DOS2 Classic (that one was never ported to the Mac).
