Since the laste update, it is impossible to use Overlay avec divinity original sin 2.

I play with a friend and we use gog galaxy. We have the same issue:

** impossible use overlay and impossible send invitation for play together. **

With the same update, direct id work for multiplayer.

Larian Studio, please resolve this issue.

ps : overlay work with other games with my gog galaxy. I have all update installed. (windows 10, gog galaxy and dos 2).

I have the exact same problem.

Invite Players is unresponsive, no matter the Connectivity Setting. The Overlay doesn't come up either AND trying to invite my friend through Direct Connect causes his game to crash and freeze his PC, so he has to restart it. This didn't happen at ANY time prior to the new updates.

Alt-tabing to desktop and then back to game is also broken. The game rendering is no more updated, while the rest of the game is still updated ; you can still hear sounds, chose dialog options, etc.
So you have no choice to but to close the process. This is quite a major issue for me.

I'm really disappointed that Larian has yet to fix this... it's been going on for more than two weeks now.

I had the exact same problem, and today i decided to check if they fixed it, and shift+tab is working again! My game version is 3.6.31.2130, i play Definitive Edition, windows 10. I actually did nothing to resolve this problem accept waiting for the new update and checking overlay ingame since 18 oct:D so pls try it now, its fixed already, im pretty sure!

Found a simple fix if you are using GOG Galaxy - Change the screen from Fullscreen to Fake Fullscreen and instead of Alt-tabbing just move mouse out of game screen and click on what you need. Note this only works if you have more then 1 monitor

Fake full screen not working for me. it freezes when I change the setting.

I've been having the same issue but I found a fix that works for me.

I use Nvidia graphics and usually have the vertical sync mode in the control panel set as "FAST" but it causes the game to lock up when switching to fullscreen or fake fullscreen.

When I set the Vsync mode to "Use the 3D application setting" the game runs and can change screen modes just fine.
Now I can play the game at 3440 x 1440 on my ultrawide monitor.
