HI

Just bought the Dishonored series - really looking forwards to these, never played em before

Dishonored 1 definitive downloaded and installed just fine; Dishonored 2 got to 97% and threw an error.

Was still running on GOG 1.2 so upgraded to GOG 2.0 ... wouldn't run

Unistalled GOG 2.0 / restarted / reinstalled GOG 2.0 - relogged in - now works fine

... but Dishonored 2.0 still crashes at 97% download - think its the actual installation step that fails - error code is E2. Offers opportunity to retry - still crashes

Any suggestions? Short of deleting 46GB of download and starting again?

(oh and the verify installation option is greyed out - can't use that cos not properly installed yet)

Thanks

EDIT - found a solution

went into the installation folder for Dishonored 2 and ran the .exe
this completed the installation. Made a desktop shortcut to the .exe file and can use that to run the game

NB GOG 2.0 still can't complete the installation itself. So can't run from GOG client, and expect other features like automatic update and cloud save files won't work either. Think I can live with that.

My download failed too.
All options greyed out
I see no exe installed yet .
My download failed very early and will not restart.
Another game insists on downloading
Downloads says 14GB
