Hi,

If I buy the game on GOG rather than on Apple store, will I get the MacBook M1 native / ARM version of the game?

Thanks!

I've got the same problem. I can't find any information if would run M1 version of the game or the one using rosetta 2... Hope someone will find the answer. For now only AppStore version seems to be updated but I'm not sure.
When are we gonna get an answer on this? It’s unacceptable that the App Store has a native m1 version and GOG has not bothered to update the game. I’ve contacted support and got the standard “Due to COVID...” response which directs me to a generic troubleshooting page.

I‘m in the same boat. Steam doesn’t seem to have the update, either. Are these AppStore exclusive or do the devs / platforms just not give a fuck? Pretty disappointing, all in all.

The game is running quite well with Rosetta 2, so while it would be nice to have the native M1 version it is still playable and enjoyable. I don't expect real performance upgrades with the M1 version, as the game runs at 60fps with decent effects, maybe the battery will last a bit longer without the Rosetta 2 layer, but apart from that, just play the game and enjoy it!

A "just deal with it" post is not necessary on this thread. The native M1 version is on the Mac App Store, so it exists and there's no excuse to not have it on GoG. M1 optimized apps run much smoother than non-optimized apps. Try paying attention to forum threads rather than wasting our time.

Besides the obvious performance improvements Rosetta won't be around forever while a native app will be, so yeah I want it to be native too here, because I would like to won it on both Mac and PC without messing around with two different stores.

So, Final Cut is here. But it's still Intel only. And... after updating it crashes on my M1 MacBook Pro. Not what I had hoped for. :-(
I was ok with the Intel version for the time being, but expected a native version for the "final" cut.

The problem has been fixed with a new update. I was able to get it running after it downloaded the complete game again.

So if I buy the current non-native version, and the devs optimize for M1 later, will my game update itself to M1 too, or will I be stuck with the Intel version?
Still waiting for a native build here for m1, devs please reply.
The game is available as M1 native on both Apple Store & Steam. I'm seriously beginning to question my support for a platform that obviously doesn't give a damn for me as a customer.

Yeah, why is the gog version not supporting native M1 ? big dissapointment. Is it still coming to gog?
