The game could be played on Mac, but I wanted to update it with the external files, not from Gog Galaxy.

Therefore I downloaded the disco_elysium_enUS_61ad72b0_53030.pkg file.

I open it in Finder, after some time Finder says:

"Cannot open disco_elysium_enUS_61ad72b0_53030.pkg because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. Software has to be updated, call the developer, blah blah..."

Questions

Can you verify this?

Can you provide a file which is in any way compatible to Apples system?

Is there a way to workaround that, mostly without using Gog Galaxy?

Thanks in advance.

I'm getting the same thing, 16GB 2020 M1 Macbook Air running Monterrey 12.2.1.

Was able to get it working installing through gog galaxy but would love to get the pkg working too.

Same problem for me, but with a newer version (disco_elysium_enUS_3c54ad81_.pkg).

Guys, I don't have this game on Mac but for sure, to open an untrusted pkg on Mac, follow this steps:

Cheers,
it's also easier. just right-click on the pkg file and then on "open with" and the installation programme should be selected by default. With my Mac games from gog.com, this procedure is usually sufficient to be able to install.
