I'm encountering an issue where all of my white check dialogue options are failing depsite me having up to a 97% success chance. Has anyone encountered this...?

I've attempted the same one (and different ones) about 12 times - all with failure...

I've attempted the same one (and different ones) about 12 times - all with failure...
There is a thought that prevents you from having successfull checks while researching it. Check the downsides of the thoughts you've equipped.

Cheylus: There is a thought that prevents you from having successfull checks while researching it. Check the downsides of the thoughts you've equipped.
That was it! "The Precarious World" was causing this. Thanks!

In my playthrough, Precarious World only inhibited Red Checks, I could complete most White Checks without trouble while I mulled over the thought. See the attached image.
