So hello everyone. I have wanted to get back to this game, and record the game for youtube let's play series, but have had quite a bit difficulty in doing so. I have Fraps and OBS that I usually use to record the games at the moment, and back in the day was able to use hypercam 2, but had difficulty to get it working on my newer computer sadly. But fraps and obs both fail to record the game, fraps completely, and obs does record in a very small window, but... not really properly at all. Basically can just see some outlines of the game, and nothing more, only black and white.

I do still have the CD version of the game too, and tried installing it and recording that one which did work, however, the game then keeps crashing on my window's 7 computer pretty consistently. Really wish could figure some way around this so could actually record the game, anyone here had any good recording software they have used to record some older games? It is a shame, considering fraps works great with gog version of Wizardry 8 for example, but never really know what works until you try it with the specific game.

Any help with this would be appreciated!
