Installed Disciples Sacred Lands Gold, have Windows 10. Start it up, and before anything happens it says "Disciples Sacred Lands has stopped working." Anyone have a fix for this? I've tried Verify / Repair, still nothing.

I was having the same problem just now, except I'm running it on Windows 8.1.
Solved it by setting the game's launcher to run on Windows XP Service Pack 2 Compatibility mode.
I'm playing through the first mission and so far the Pre rendered stuff runs like it should, mission movies too, no sound glitches (so far), and it hasn't crashed, as far as I can tell it's running like it should (although I haven't played the game back when it launched).
