I purchased Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold, but when I click on Play, I'm getting "Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold stopped working" error.

I kindly request assistance with this issue.

Installing an outsource patch is not necessary, actually. I just reinstalled it, and the game worked.

I've just had the same problem. The game crashed when i tried to launch it via gog galaxy. However, when i tried to launch it via the "Launch Disciples Gold" shortcut from the game folder, it worked.
The game launched fine from the galaxy after that as well.

Start galaxe exe as admin (set admin run to exe properties). Reinstall game. Always do files verifying after any downloading from anything (gog\steam\origin P2P bittorrent).
At least twice.

Go to the game folder and start configedit.exe as admin. Set it. Start game fom exe or Galaxy. But Galaxy still must be as admin or if directly from exe\lnk - set game run as admin.

Remove any other "compatibily" checkboxes (GOG always set them even when not needed).

Delayed thanks! Will try that next time. The game runs normally now. Often seem to forget that "Run as admin" trick though.

ok. it worked for me as follows:
Ran GOG Galaxy as admin
uninstalled the game
reinstalled the game
Run - success!
