Because things are confusing or simply obscure where Disciples 3 games are concerned, I thought that maybe I could raise some awareness on one D3 title that seems to be forgotten.

Disciple Reincarnation

This is the version of Disciple 3 that you want.

First off let me clarify a couple of things:
Reincarnation is the English version of the Russian version called Rebirth.
Reincarnation contains the previous campaigns Renaissance and Resurrection.
The interface has been reworked and now you get a whole lot more much needed statical information.
Combat arenas are now smaller and it makes the combat more strategic as there are extra combat tactics that have been implemented. The game is well worth the investment even if, like me, you have the previous games.
They finally got Disciples 3 right!

Sadly due the developers/publishers bankruptcy some months prior to the release this D3 game went largely unnoticed.
Leaving Disciples: Reincarnation the only true D2 sequel, shrouded in obscurity.

I hope I managed to raise some awareness on this unfortunate D3 gem.

Does it have all the factions, though?

Just picked it up on Steam, actually. I'll be back to post some impressions once my new rig gets in and I get it up and running!

@WarlockLord: All previously Disciples 3 factions are present: The Empire, The Legions, The Elves and the Undead.
Sadly, due to their bankrupcy it is very unlikely that we will ever see the mountain clans again.

This saddens me. Mayhap someone else will pick up the IP?

I would really like that, but given the "failure" of Disciples 3, I wouldn't count on it.
I have shifted my hopes towards Age of Wonders 3, which is more of a civ-alike, but might still prove fun in the disciples way.

It's a pity that there's no vesion WITHOUT this heinous Steam... I'd buy such one with pleasure 'cause players reviews are mostly very positive (especially comparing with two previous versions of Disciples 3) and screenshots are impressive.
