Apparently Disciples 2 Gold is advertised as having an RMG (Random Map Generator), but I do not see anything beyond the Scenario Editor.
I am content with downloading scenarios from the internet, but an RMG would make this game so much better and improve its longevity by quite a bit.
I'm starting to assume that by some stroke of marketing stupidity they thought the Scenario Editor could pass as an RMG, is this the case, or is there really an RMG, and more importantly, where the hell is it? It's not in any of the menus, and I don't see it in the Start Menu folders either.

The random map generator is actually in the scenario editor. It's not very good though, it randomizes the terrain and adds some monsters but you will need to tweak it so nothing is blocked off from the rest of the map.
Your best bet would be to find a dedicated fan site that rates fan created maps and just download a bunch of those, assuming they are still around.
Alright, thanks, that's pretty much what I expected, I'll download some fan-made scenarios if I can find them.
iirc, the scenario editor is actually very easy to use. In addition to downloading others' content, I'd recommend having a play with it yourself. It's been a while since I made anything with it, but it didn't take me long to put together a reasonably playable single scenario.
