not using trainers myself, nor editors, but trainers nearly always trigger virus alarm, which is nearly always false positive.
trainers are basically resembling viruses in many ways, and it is absolutely normal to see warning during download, unzip or usage.
true story:
my system only had 'viruses' when I had antivirus software installed, for a period of circe 2.5 years, when I trusted intivirus and antimalware soft, I had to reinstall OS several times.
Then I made a clean new install w/o any antivirus and even deactivated window defender, for 6 years nothing - playing the same games - no issues. Till MS decided to go bonkers and started the mayhem in form of forced updates. For several years I am microsoftless, and happy.
Anyways, when you want to play it safe, create your own cheat tables, cheat engine is great offering just that. No download, everything homebrew, 100% safe.
BTW, it is possible that even clean install of CE will trigger virus warnings, tho.
