... but the butcher-room is empty.

I read on the internet, that the butcher-quest could be missing (randomized), but the quest is there, but not the butcher.

Is a complete new character needed? Thank you in advance.
In Belzebub, no quests are missing.

In Belzebub, you must use town portal spell (scroll or spell) in the empty room - new red portal shows up - use it.


Even if in original Diablo some quests were missing, no need to start new character, just start new game and the quests get randomized (but not in Belzebub, in Belzebub all quests are available)

Thank you for the Info! I had the impression, that the butcher would be inside the "empty" room, as it was before in the old days of Diablo 1 (as far as I remember)
they have changed a lot of stuff. some stuff is reverted to how it was before the base game released. though considering how strong the butcher is, having a portal really helps if he proves too strong.
Same thing, also missing the butcher in my game. It looks like a glitch since in this mod, all the quests are available and even if they weren't, if the butcher was disabled, the butcher room would just not appear.

It's not a glitch, if you talk to Wirt he'll give you a hint how to get to the butcher.

Yep, I ended up discovering it that same day. Forgot to come here to put back my words :)

What I have heard is that the current Belzebub implementation of this quest is how it was supposed to do, but I don't have the resources to be 100% sure.
