I've died a couple of times and when I do, I cannot use any of my Scrolls or Resurrect. I also cannot use the Esc key to bring up the menu to save and exit. I have to use the X at the upper right to close the game.

Playing on Windows 10.

Res scrolls are used in multiplayer for other dead players, it's not a scroll you can use on yourself unfortunately.

Not sure on your menu screen issue. I'm on Windows 11 playing at 1280x720 and everything works fine for me, though I have yet to die. I can make an alt and test it though to see if the same things might happen.

Ok just sacrificed an alt and after I died I was able to hit ESC and the menu came up and I could Return To Town just fine. So not sure why you are having that issue. Is your ESC key broke perhaps? When you die does the screen go red but enemies are still moving etc like they should or does it freeze on you?

Yeah, I was finally able to get the ESC key to work. I've spent MANY hours in this game, but it's been so long ago, I'd forgotten about the Resurrect scrolls not working on self. Thanks!

Now I'm trying to figure out why my mana is being used for every strike of my weapon - even on barrels. I've tried multiple weapons, double checked that nothing I have equipped is negative for mana usage. This just started happening the last time I went from level 14 to level 15. Wasn't doing it before. I don't know if the game is buggy AF or if I'm losing it!

When resurrect scrolls have no meaning (apart being sold), why not remove them, so we can get more drops on actually useful scrolls (town portal, identify, healing... or infravision...) ?
